MEET JENNIFER
Jennifer Nuesse, former Arlington City Council member, is honored to announce her candidacy for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 17B, with the endorsement of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor (DFL) Party.
Jennifer's public service journey began on the Arlington City Council, where she also served on the Economic Development Authority and Planning and Zoning committees. A long-time resident of Arlington, she and her husband Rodger have lived here for 14 years, raising four children and enjoying their grandson. Jennifer brings a wealth of professional experience from her 38-year career in corporate business, where she excelled in management, sales, customer service, finance, and employee placement.
Jennifer believes in the power of public participation and is dedicated to upholding democracy and civil rights. Her campaign focuses on key issues such as quality education for all, affordable childcare, family-sustaining wages, job protection, agricultural sustainability, and innovative energy solutions to combat climate change.
Jennifer believes that public participation is an important way to contribute to society. She will uphold the continuation of our Democracy, as this is what motivated her to run for the House seat. She pledges to serve with dignity and collaboration to ensure the preservation of constitutional rights and the protection of civil rights.
House District 17B includes most of Sibley County and parts of Carver and McLeod counties.
